Java Application by Jacob D. Pearse
This was an independent study project for CS4099 under the direction of Chuck Wallace. The application was based on research that Ken Reidel had done in Fall 2006.
There exists a strong relationship between music theory and mathematical set theory. Most people consider music set theory to be a way to generate new melodies or ideas for melodies when composers have a "writers block." It is mainly used for atonal compositions relating to classical music, but has been used with jazz as well. There are instructions in the help section describing the function of each operation and how to use the program.
